Why Meditation?
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful, we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness. Eventually, we will be able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.
Development of Six Sense
When you meditate, it can develop your sixth sense just like when you think about someone and a day later, out of the blue, they call or you meet them on the road. Or when we are calling someone on the phone, and the line is engaged because they are calling us at the same time. It is easier for us to say, “Well, these things happen,” to shrug our shoulders and moves right along, without any thought as to why or how these things happen. Many people do not want to know the unknown or to see that which is unseen. They are afraid, and understandably so. But hiding is not the answer, as it only brings confusion. Your sixth sense… Always there!
